Racine’s parks, athletic facilities, and community centers are the perfect place to gather—whether you’re planning a family reunion, hosting a meeting, or organizing a game, practice, or tournament.
Our pavilions and gazebos, located along the scenic shores of Lake Michigan and the banks of the Root River, provide a beautiful setting for celebrations, picnics, and community events.
Sports enthusiasts can reserve fields and courts across the city, including the historic Horlick Athletic Field, now updated with new turf, a batting cage, and a premier baseball diamond—ideal for everything from practice to tournament play.
Our Community Centers offer flexible spaces for any occasion, from gymnasiums for team sports and open play, to meeting rooms and halls perfect for training, workshops, and special events.

Rent a Facility
Looking for the perfect place to gather? PRCS offers pavilions, gazebos, athletic facilities, and community centers for rent.
- Pavilions & Gazebos-Island, Lincoln, Lockwood, Pierce Woods & Myers Beach-North Beach Gazebos
- Athletic Facilities – Fields, courts, and Horlick Athletic Field are available for practices, games, and tournaments.
- Community Centers – Gymnasiums, meeting rooms, and event spaces for sports, training, and celebrations.
Rental Guidelines
- BOUNCE HOUSES & INFLATABLES are NOT allowed.
- Keys must be picked up the business day before your rental, no later than 3:00 p.m.
- Weekend rentals → keys must be picked up on Friday before 3:00 p.m.
- Payment is due at the time of reservation. Late requests may have added fees.
- Cancellations made 14+ days in advance incur a 20% fee. No refunds within 14 days.
- Clean Up after your event—extra charges apply if additional cleaning or repairs are needed.
Is It Allowed?
- Alcohol – Only with a Malt Beverage Permit (available with pavilion rentals at Island, Lincoln, and Pierce Woods ParksParks Testing. More). Must be 21+ with ID.
- Pets – Not allowed in parksParks Testing. More, pavilions, playgrounds, or beaches. Dogs are welcome in designated dog parksParks Testing. More and on leashed recreational paths.
- Decorations – Please remove everything after your event. No nails, staples, confetti, glitter, balloons, live flames, or similar items.
- Fires/Grills – Allowed only in grills for food preparation. Dispose of charcoal in provided bins.
- Music/Noise – Keep volume reasonable. Amplified sound requires a permit.
- Structures – Large tents, inflatables, stages, and similar items are not permitted.
- Parking – No driving or parking on grass or recreational paths.
Good to Know
- Pavilion & Gazebo Rentals do not include exclusive use of the surrounding parkParks Testing. More.
- Restrooms may be shared with sports rentals.
- Keys must be returned the next business day. Late returns reduce deposits.
- Weather – No rain dates or weather refunds unless PRCS cancels the event.
