Temporary Noise Variance Permits may be issued provided such noise is necessary to promote the public health and/or welfare and reasonable steps are taken to keep it at the lowest practical level. Permits may also be issued for special community events, such as circuses,
Fourth of July celebrations. However, these events must be limited in duration and generally acceptable to the people of the community. No variance permits will be issued for block parties.
