The City of Racine Public Health Department, as an agent of the State of Wisconsin, is responsible for the inspection and permitting of all restaurants, taverns, caterers, hotels, motels, and public pools within the City of Racine. The City of Racine’s Municipal Code requires at least one inspection annually at each facility. The permitting year begins July 1st and ends June 30th of the following year.
Inspection reports are available through the online portal of the HealthSpace system, where inspection reports, violations, and compliance actions are documented for all permitted facilities. Click the link below to view these inspection reports.
The Environmental Health Division responds to complaints about facilities that are permitted through the Public Health Department. This includes restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, motels, and public pools. If you have a concern regarding a foodborne illness, cleanliness of a facility, or other potential violation of applicable laws, rules, or regulations, click the link below to submit your complaint to the Department.
